The 20-kms. of skiing slopes provides an ideal ground for popular skiing events vis-à-vis, cross-country, slalom and down-hill skiing.
How to Reach Auli
Auli Hill Station can be reached via Air, Rail, Road and Cable Car.
Bright End Corner Tourists who have limited time, can take the flight from The Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun), lying at 273 kms. from Joshimath and 17 kms. from Rishikesh.
Rail –The tourists can take the train from Haridwar, lying at a distance of 299 km from Auli.
Cable Car – Cable Car Service is the most popular service available which runs over 3kms. stretch, providing unique and pleasurable experience to the snow covered peaks and the alpine forest.
Road - Auli Hill Station is at reachable distance from Joshimath. State transport and Union buses ply on daily basis between Joshimath and Rishikesh (253 kms). Tourists can also hire Local Transport Union buses and State Transport buses that ply regularly between Joshimath and Rishikesh (253 km), Haridwar (277 km), Dehradun (298 km) and Delhi (500 km).From Joshimath, tourists can also rent a private taxi.
What’s more, tourists can also easily opt for the A/C and Non A/C deluxe coaches can also be arranged, provided, if there are 15 to 20 people.
