About Bageshwar, Uttarakhand: Bageshwar, the “Abode of Gods” is a significant pilgrim and tourist place. Baijnath Temple

The Baijnath temple has a gather of many temples; the most famous of them is Bhairav, Dattatreya, Ganga Mata, Haniman, Durga, Kalika & Vaneswar temples. It is located at the heart of city. Lying in the Katyuri valley, 19 Kms away from Kausani and 26 kms far from Bageshwer, is the small but ancient town of Baijnath.

Chandika Temple

chandika temple is situated at 1.5 kms far away from Bageshwar. This striking temple devoted to Goodess Chandika stands at top a mountain. Every year, the temple bustle with activity as the devout come together here to offer pujas to the divinity during the Navratras.

Gauri Udiyar

This enormous cave is situated at a distance 8 kms from the bageshwar. It also knows as the idol house of lord Shiva in the bageshwar .


vijaypur is situated at the 30 kms far away from the Bageshwar. It is situated on Bageshwar Chaukori vehicle road. From here you can seen a panoramic vision of the snow capped Himalaya. Because of its high elevation the view is breathing taking.
